Miami's amazing medley of cultures and flashy urban settings makes it a scene to be seen. Visit the trendy Art Deco district of South Beach, Calle Ocho in Little Havana, the super-upscale neighborhoods of Coconut Grove and Coral Gables and the unique ecosystem of the Everglades.

Day 2

At Sea

Raise the roof every night at the spectacular shows. Winner of six Tony Awards®, Kinky Boots is a must-see Broadway hit. Sing along to classic rock hits at The Choir Of Man or step into a New Orleans speakeasy at Happy Hour Prohibition: The Musical.

Day 3

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic ~ 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Puerto Plata (or officially known as San Felipe de Puerto Plata) is the ninth largest city in the Dominican Republic and the capital of the province of Puerto Plata. For spectacular city views, take a ride up the Pico Isabel de Torres mountain which stands over 2,600 feet high. History buff? Visit Fortaleza San Felipe, which was built in the 16th century and served as a prison under the dictatorship of Rafael Trujillo. Or head to the Amber Museum, a museum filled with a unique collection of valuable Dominican amber which is semiprecious tree sap that has hardened for millions of years capturing many fossils of plant and insect life.

Day 4

At Sea

Experience sheer awe from the 180-degree indoor observation lounges — offering Norwegian’s most expansive views at sea. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide spectacular vistas while cruising past spectacular seascapes, landscapes and cityscapes. And with a full-service bar, you can toast to colorful sunsets with your favorite cocktail.

Day 5

Willemstad, Curacao ~ 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Walk around this quaint harbor town and you'll think you've traveled back in time to Old Amsterdam. Admire the colorful Dutch architecture and take advantage of the excellent shopping. Relax on 17-century veranda with a drink made with the famous Curacao liqueur.

Day 6

Oranjestad, Aruba ~ 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Incredibly white sands and cobalt blue seas make the small island of Aruba a popular destination. In the bustling freeport town of Oranjestad, sherbet-colored Dutch colonial buildings, draped in bougainvillea, oleander and hibiscus are simply picturesque. Small, but informative museums relate the island's history.

Day 7

Santa Marta, Columbia ~ 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Admire the stunning bays of Santa Marta and popular beaches. Explore the ancient cultures of the Taironas who occupied the land thousands of years ago. Stroll over to the Cathedral and admire its beautiful architecture and learn about its history.

Day 8

Cartagena, Columbia ~ 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

The old walled city of Cartagena reflects a turbulent history of conquistadors and pirates. Climb "las murallas" for an unforgettable view of the harbor. Shop for emeralds and leather goods along the cobblestone streets of this enchanting city.

Day 9

Panama Canal / Gatun Lake, Panama ~

5:00 AM to 3:00 PM

When you book an overland journey on your partial transit of the Panama Canal, you’ll really travel like the jetsetters do as you sail through the Caribbean entrance of this maritime marvel. Once you arrive at Gatun Lake, booked shore excursion guests can disembark for an unforgettable adventure that not only promises beautiful scenery and wonderful photo ops, but an exciting jaunt to Colón, where guests will resume their cruise back aboard the ship. How’s that for excitement? Please note, only booked shore excursion guests can disembark at Gatun Lake. But everyone is welcome to explore at the port-of-call in Colón.

Colon, Panama ~ 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Sail into the Caribbean seaport of Colón and grab a good spot on deck so you can take in the view. What a picture it is. Behold the Atlantic Ocean entrance to the famous Panama Canal. Born from a desire to get to California (and its Gold Rush) as fast as possible, this industrious town was the last stop on the 19th century Panama Railroad. It’s now home to Canal Zones, U.S. military bases and of course, beauty.

Day 10

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica ~ 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Puerto Limón is known for its multi-cultural community and a festive annual carnaval celebration. In recent years the area has become even better known as must-see stop for eco-tourists. The region's unique geography and neo-tropical climate combined with abundant rainforests make for one of the most naturally diverse "biospheres" in the world. And you can take advantage of national parks and reserves in all directions from Limón. Pay close attention when you dock as many guests have reported seeing peaceful sloths lumbering in the trees right in port!

Days 11 - 12

At Sea

Repeat perfect moments on Norwegian's newest, most incredible ship, Norwegian Encore — specially designed for “Again! Again!” Take one more victory lap on the race track. Catch an award-winning Broadway show. And get completely lost in yet another virtual reality wonderland. Do all this and so much more on Norwegian Encore. Because once is never enough.
