(Roundtrip from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida)

Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida ~ Nassau, Bahamas ~ Half Moon Cay, Bahamas ~ Freeport, Bahamas

When you're on your Carnival Sunshine cruise, step out of the sun and try out some shade (and it's some pretty cool shade, at that). The first thing you'll see is the Sunshine Atrium... and let's just say first impressions count. From there, check out dining options — this ship has everything under the Carnival sun — like Guy's Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse and JiJi Asian Kitchen. Some of the greatest Carnival bars are here: RedFrog Pub, BlueIguana Tequila Bar, SkyBox Sports Bar and Alchemy Bar... plus the already-classic Havana Bar! You'll enjoy musical revues from Playlist Productions, while Hasbro, The Game Show gets cruisers like you up on stage, competing in larger-than-life family favorites come to life.

Day 1

Port Canaveral (Orlando) ~ Depart 4:00 PM

Hi, I’m Port Canaveral. In addition to being the main US launching site for all things space, I really know how to have a good time. And I’ll prove it to you in 3, 2, 1…you know the rest. I’m a total blast. Literally. My space center has captured the hearts and minds of dreamers and space travelers for decades. People say my head’s in the clouds. But it’s way higher than that. Cocoa Beach is my local sandy spot, and it’s every bit as sweet as the name suggests. Get a surf lesson and hang-ten, or just hang out looking the part at the world-famous surf shop. Visit a film production studio and theme park. Learn about movie making. Scream your face off on my rides. Eat popcorn and cotton candy! Once again, I’m a blast. It’s a universal truth.

Day 2

Fun Day at Sea

Day 3

Nassau ~ 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hi, I’m Nassau. Women love me. Men want to be me. Oh, and the kids, grandmas and second cousins? They love me, too. Of the 700 Bahamian islands, I’m the most popular. Here’s why. Swim, stroll and tube through 141 acres of water coasters, pools, sea creatures and rivers. I mean, really — it’s no wonder I’m so popular. You don’t get this popular sailing around on dinghies. Let me take you for a ride on the largest catamaran of its class. Relax, tan, snorkel and sip a cocktail. The party never ends. For a day off the beaten path, follow me. My private Balmoral Island has a heated pool with an ocean view, four themed bars and tons of peace and quiet. Just tell them Nassau sent you.

Day 4

Half Moon Cay ~ 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hi, I’m Half Moon Cay. I’m not ashamed to admit I love myself. I’m a private island with 9 miles of beaches, a 1700-acre interior lagoon, and exotic vegetation. You’ll love me, too. Here’s why. When I look at my reflection, I see people sailing, snorkeling, snapping pictures and making beautiful memories. People just find me irresistible. I love that about me. For real. You know all those book covers showing people in a state of total bliss riding on horses across a white sandy beach and through crashing waves? That’s me. Obviously. I’m not the only one who loves me. I have a way of attracting a very cool, very interesting entourage. Stingrays. They’re incredible. You’ll love them. And me.

Day 5

Freeport ~ 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hi, I’m Freeport. When you’ve been in business as long as I have, you learn a thing or two about fun and sun. From resorts to historical sites to homemade red pepper sauce, I’ve mastered it all. I practically have a PhD in history and heritage. Tour my lighthouses, caves and geological wonders. I’ll wow you with interesting facts and details. I’ve got this “amazement” thing down pat. Yes, a beach day includes sun, sand and surf. But to master the beach day, I’ve added trampolines, volleyball, chess games under palm trees, a bit of yea and a heap of yippee. That’s how you do a beach day. Hop aboard and navigate your way through my impressive inland creeks and mangroves. You’ll see that I’ve mastered the art of kayak-ology. And it’s awesome.
