August 11 - 23, 2019
13 Days / 12 Nights

(Roundtrip from Southampton)

Day 1

Southampton, United Kingdom

The United Kingdom's premier passenger ship port, Southampton was home to the great transatlantic liners of yesteryear. The port serves as your gateway to Southern England’s magnificent historic sites, national landmarks, charming villages as well as the great metropolis of London. Southampton is the ideal starting or ending point for a memorable voyage.

Day 2

At Sea

Queen Mary 2 is wonderfully grand. Illuminations is a luxury 3D cinema, a planetarium and a classical music venue. If you fancy a little shopping, fine boutiques centred around the ship’s magnificent Grand Lobby, provide a range of products from tempting souvenirs and gifts to exquisite jewellery and designer clothing.

Day 3

Newcastle-upon-Tyne, United Kingdom

Located on the northern bank of the formidable River Tyne, Newcastle is a spectacular blend of municipal elegance, remarkable heritage and natural beauty. Considered to be north east England’s regional capital, this former industrial giant began as a Roman fort on Hadrian’s Wall before the Normans built their ‘new castle’ on the site, some of which remains within the fortress you see today.

Day 5

Iverness, Scotland

Soak up the unmistakable Scottish Highlands, shrouded in myth and folklore. Amidst conical hills and verdant glens, seek out Loch Ness and scan its glassy surface for the legendary ‘monster.’ Visit Culloden Moor where Bonnie Prince Charlie was defeated, Cawdor Castle – forever linked with Macbeth – and regional whisky distilleries bearing their own famous names.

Day 6

Isle Of Skye Sail By

Day 7

Glasgow, Scotland

When you cruise to Greenock, think of it as the gateway to some of Scotland’s most exciting cultural cities and perhaps the most breathtaking scenery you will ever experience. As you disembark, you will often be greeted by the stirring sight and sound of a traditional Scottish pipe band in full tartan regalia.

Day 8

Belfast, Northern Ireland

Belfast, capital of Northern Ireland, enjoys a wonderful setting of high hills, sea lough and river valley. Founded in the 17th century, the city prospered, becoming one of the world’s leading industrial names. Despite its more recent political troubles, Belfast has emerged as a vibrant, alluring destination. Amidst its beautiful Victorian buildings you can shop in stylish boutiques, sip a Guinness in one of its charming old pubs or take a scenic stroll in Barnett Demesne park.

Day 9

Liverpool, United Kingdom

Liverpool was the former home of Cunard Line. The Cunard Building, the Royal Liver Building, and the Port of Liverpool Building – all on Pier Head – are often described as the city’s ‘Three Graces,’ Liverpool is vibrant and modern with a taste of the 60s. Take a ferry across the Mersey for stunning harbour views or embark on a Magical Mystery Tour commemorating ‘The Beatles,’ the city’s most famous sons.

Day 10

At Sea

Escape into a floating world of possibility with as much or as little to do as you please. Feel everyday concerns slip away as you ease into the day's blissful relaxation or begin to explore the myriad experiences that await you.

Day 11

St. Peter Port, Guernsey

Fortified against invasion for centuries, Guernsey is dotted with castles and coastal defence forts. During World War II, the Channel Islands were the only part of the United Kingdom occupied by the Germans. This quaint harbour whose narrow, cobbled streets and granite houses rise in tiers on the hillside is actually the isle of Guernsey's capital.

Day 12

If anything sums up the freedom of your cruise, it is the array of places to eat, from healthy to hearty, from light bites to haute cuisine. The only challenge is deciding what to order, when so much catches the eye.
