Carnival Cruises on the Carnival Freedom

October 27 - November 10, 2019

15 Days / 14 Nights

(Roundtrip from Galveston)

Galveston ~ Grand Cayman ~ Aruba ~ Curacao ~ Cartagena ~ Panama Canal Partial Transit ~ Limon ~ Cozumel ~ Galveston

Carnival Freedom offers some of the latest and greatest features across our fleet. As you explore the ship, you’ll find food options galore. Feast your eyes on dining rooms Posh and Chic, and look to Freedom Restaurant on Lido Deck for mouth-watering Guy Fieri burgers at Guy’s Burger Joint, plus the greatest tacos and burritos this side of the pier at BlueIguana Cantina.

For every great food spot, there's a great place to enjoy drinks, too, from the toe-tapping Scott’s Piano Bar to the always-hoppin’ 70’s Dance Club. New libation hotspots include Alchemy Bar (cocktail magic central) and SkyBox Sports Bar (the 50-yard-line of fun). An outdoor, seaside bar is practically a cruise ship requirement, and everyone’s favorite is here… whether it’s the RedFrog Rum Bar or BlueIguana Tequila Bar.

Carnival Cruises on the Carnival Freedom

October 27 - November 10, 2019

15 Days / 14 Nights

(Roundtrip from Galveston)

Day 1

Galveston ~ Depart 6:00 PM

Galveston is an island city on the Gulf Coast of Texas. It’s known for Moody Gardens, where giant glass pyramids house sharks, monkeys and other animals. Amusement rides and restaurants line Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier on the south shore. West is bird-rich Galveston Island State Park, with its trails, kayak launches and fishing spots. Stewart Beach and East Beach are on the island’s eastern end.

Day 2 - 3

Fun Day at Sea

Nobody knows Mexican dining like a blue iguana. Well, our blue iguana, at least. That's why it should come as no surprise that the BlueIguana Cantina features freshley made tacos and burritos stuffed specially for your enjoyment. Throq our homemade tortillas and salsa into the mix, and you have a casual dining experience that will make you say "mmmmm" (which is actually Iguanese for "more, please").

Day 4

Grand Cayman ~ 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Grand Cayman is the largest of the Cayman Islands, a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean. George Town, its capital, is home to the Cayman Islands National Museum, dedicated to Caymanian heritage. The city is also a major cruise-ship port and site of the ruins of colonial-era Fort George. Beaches and vibrant coral reefs are the island’s hallmarks.

Day 5

Fun Day At Sea

We went looking for someone to help us grill up the best burgers at sea, and we found just the guy. Carnival has teamed up with the best-selling author, restaurateur and Food Network personality Guy Fieri to bring all the authentic appeal of a roadside burger shack to Guy's Burger Joint, the cool poolside spot for hot burgers and hand-cut fries. Try a fresh-off-the-grill burger Guy's way, or take it off-road to our toppings bar and truly make it your own.

Day 6

Aruba ~ 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Aruba, a tiny Dutch Caribbean island off the coast of Venezuela, has dry, sunny weather, blond beaches and gentle surf. Constant trade winds bring cool breezes and cause the divi-divi trees to slope southwesterly. European influence shows in architecture that features Dutch gables painted in tropical pastels. It’s also evident in language, with English, Dutch and Spanish spoken alongside the local tongue, Papiamento.

Day 7

Curacao ~ 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Curaçao, a Dutch Caribbean island, is known for its beaches tucked into coves and its expansive coral reefs rich with marine life. The capital, Willemstad, has pastel-colored colonial architecture, floating Queen Emma Bridge and the sand-floored, 17th-century Mikvé Israel-Emanuel Synagogue. It’s also a gateway to western beaches like Blue Bay, a popular diving site.

Day 8

Fun Day At Sea

On a Carnival cruise, your stateroom is your home base. When the day is done, once you've had your fill of fun, you'll head back to your stateroom and settle in for the night. No matter which kind of room you choose — whether you're thinking of a simple Interior or Ocean View, or going grand with a Balcony or Suite — you'll find yours a well-appointed way to wind down the day. And whether it's day or night, all staterooms have a room steward on duty, an attendant you can call for room service, and more sweet perks inside.

Day 9

Cartagena ~ 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Cartagena is a port city on Colombia’s Caribbean coast. By the sea is the walled Old Town, founded in the 16th century, with squares, cobblestone streets and colorful colonial buildings. With a tropical climate, the city is also a popular beach destination. Reachable by boat are Isla de Barú, with white-sand beaches and palm trees, and the Islas del Rosario, known for their coral reefs.

Day 10

Panama Canal Partial Transit

Day 11

Limon ~ 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Puerto Limón, commonly known as Limón, is the capital city and main hub of Limón province, as well as of the cantón of Limón in Costa Rica.

Day 12

Fun Day At Sea

A good seafood dish is quite the catch. However you like yours served — whether it’s on a roll or a platter — Seafood Shack’s the place to cast your net. Imagine a New-England-style seaside spot where you can take it all in, enjoying a great meal complete with a side of ocean view. On a Carnival cruise is where you’ll find this shack by the sea, wherever in the world you happen to be!

Day 13

Cozumel ~ 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Cozumel, a mostly undeveloped Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea, is a popular cruise ship port of call famed for its scuba diving. At Arrecifes de Cozumel National Park, there's diving spots around a section of the Mesoamerican Reef and the Museo Subacuático de Arte’s submerged sculptures. Chankanaab is an eco park surrounding a lagoon with underwater caverns, home to dolphins, manatees and sea turtles.

Day 14

Fun Day At Sea

Sometimes you just need to get away… from all that vacation. We know — sitting at home, it’s hard to imagine that, but trust us — it’s really, really nice to have a place to unwind from the day’s excitement. Escape to a world designed, from the ground up, for relaxation. Cloud 9 Spa staff are masters (or, maybe more like artists) trained in the craft of simply helping you chill. What’s their secret? Massages, facials, body wraps, thermal suites and more — plus, on certain ships, the amazing Thalassotherapy Pool — these are the tools of the trade. And the trade is ultimate relaxation.
